Adding classes:
The first day the class meets, make sure you come to the class, and I will tell you the procedure to apply for a permission number. This gives everyone an equal chance to apply. (I don't give out permission numbers over the summer.)
Books:
Econ 160: We will be using Mankiw's Principles of Microeconomics, 5th edition. Do not buy this book ahead of time. We will be using Aplia, an on-line tutoring/homework service, and a full electronic version of the textbook comes with your Aplia subscription. The Aplia subscription along with the electronic version of the textbook will cost $80.00 total. I will explain to you how to sign up for it on the first day of class.
Econ 309: There are no required books for this class. The following book is optional:
A Guide to Everyday Economic Statistics, 7th ed., Gary E. Clayton, Giesbrecht, and Guo, McGraw-Hill Irwin Publishers, 2010.
Econ 409: You do not have to buy anything for this class. The textbook and software will be made available to you for free.
